 to give up his dirt bike and follow his true calling of music. And by age 
 12 he was already playing local festivals\, talent shows\, weddings\, scho
 ol functions\, and fundraisers. Also\, playing gigs like singing the natio
 nal anthem for the Portland Trailblazers\, singing in bars\, rodeos and fa
 irs all around the pacific northwest\, even bought his own tour bus. At ag
 e 17 Les was nominated in three categories in his age division (17-20) at 
 the CMA's in Las Vegas and won two\, Songwriter of the Year & Entertainer 
 of the Year. Then it was time to take his talent\, along with his million-
 dollar voice to the next level and move to Nashville. Since moving to Nash
 ville he has appeared on such shows as Star Search and Nashville Star\, an
 d has performed at the Ryman Auditorium and on the Grand Ole Opry stage. L
 es has also shared the stage with such performers as Big and Rich\, Dierks
  Bentley\, 3 Doors Down\, John Rich\, Montgomery Gentry\, the late Chris L
