Among the exhibitors are self-taught artists as well as trained professionals. While some of the artists are represented by galleries and are well known in Nashville's art scene, others see this exhibit as an opportunity to introduce their fellow Nashvillians to their art. All are legal immigrants whose stories of coming to Nashville include accompanying their parents as children, relocating due to employment opportunities, following their spouses to a new country and fleeing for their very lives.
