If in today’s music environment, online followings are the foundation of an artist’s career, then Montana native Tyler Barham’s career is solid as a rock. This Country singer-songwriter, with a voice that has been described as ringing like a bell, has built a foundation of more than 50,000 dedicated online fans with over 9 million views. Born in Bozeman and raised in Florence, Montana; Tyler began singing when he was nine. Although he enjoyed singing different styles of music, it did not take him long to realize his heart (and eventually his baritone voice) belonged to country music. In his early teens, Tyler competed and won various regional talent competitions, but also while in high school, Tyler discovered YouTube and began posting covers of his favorite country songs, which quickly introduced him to a worldwide audience. In 2008 Tyler made the leap from computer screen to TV screen as a finalist on Great American Country’s nationwide talent search, Next GAC Star. In the next few years, Tyler was featured on E!’s Opening Act based on his YouTube following and was the winner of nationally syndicated radio host Radio Lia’s Your Big Break contest. In September of 2010, with the help of industry veterans John Griffin and Dave Flint, Tyler released an independent self-titled EP that reached No. 39 on the iTunes Country Album Chart. His follow-up EP, titled Twenty-One, which was released on March 21st 2011, his 21st birthday, cruised its way up the iTunes Country Album Chart to #19. Building on the sales success of his previous releases, Tyler's most recent original release, Don't Cage This Heart, debuted at #56 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and #19 on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart which charts album titles from new or developing acts in all formats. Tyler has also enjoyed success at GrassRoots radio with singles “17 & Young,” “Meet Me In Montana,” “More Than A Cotton Dress” and the original holiday song “Coal In Your Stocking This Year”. His current radio single “Just Two Kids” has been Tyler’s highest charting song, breaking into the Music Row BreakOut Chart Top 50, and gaining recognition on the Billboard Indicator chart as New & Active. Tyler’s fans are not simply online. He was named one of the Country Music Association’s (CMA) “Who New to Watch in 2013” and also named one of Billboard’s “10 Country Artists to Watch in 2014.” Tyler received the ultimate compliment when Blake Shelton shared Tyler’s cover of “Honey Bee” with his fans, Brett Eldredge tweeted Tyler’s cover of “Don’t Ya” to his Twitter following and Darius Rucker and Keith Urban began using Tyler’s cover of their songs in their live concerts. But Tyler says his greatest honor has been to see the process come full circle as his original songs are now being covered by aspiring singers on YouTube. In an industry that is coming to terms with the new model of music discovery, Tyler is steadily building on his solid foundation with a house that welcomes country music fans of all ages who love meaningful lyrics, catchy melodies and a sparkling vocal delivery. Find Tyler online on his website, social media platforms or iTunes, and you will hear why. Source: TylerBarham.com [less-]

Tristan Smith started playing bass at an early age after his uncle introduced him to music and the rock genre. He did not truly fall in love with music though until he was introduced to the drums at the age of 12. Tristan spent the next several years playing in various bands, always striving to better his sound and learn as much from those around him as possible. At 15, Tristan picked up the guitar and began writing songs with friends. Working with other musicians has always been a great passion of Tristan's, and towards the end of his high school career, as the band's drummer, Hot Sauce Handouts recorded their first EP Revolutions. A lot of time has passed since high school though, and Tristan is now pursuing new horizons. Currently, Tristan focuses on writing new songs and playing with Singer/Songwriter sensation Bailey Callahan. When these two take to the stage it's electric, and you can't help but get caught up in the moment. From night life hot spots to city festivals, Tristan is always excited to entertain and interact with those who have a passion for music. The Smoky White Devils are coming after your rock ‘n’ roll soul. The band strikes with an intense precision borne of veteran musicians, which they are, but carry the righteous fire of artists who know they’ve found the right channel for their talent and their passionate love of fierce rock with roots in both Appalachia and the Delta. They arrive fully formed and ready to conquer, not just because they know what they’re doing, but because they so deeply believe in this band and these songs. The Smoky White Devils create rock ‘n’ roll, with all the swagger, mystery, sexuality and magic that the music’s most timeless elements have always put forth. Veteran blues and rock journalist Ted Drozdowski, writing in the Nashville Scene, wrote that the Smoky White Devils serve up “high energy performances blending stalwart songwriting and volcanic sonics, set on a tectonic foundation spanning East Tennessee mountain music and the classic-rock influences of Led Zeppelin and Cream.” Source: Submitted [less-]

"Fiery Angel" is the perfect title for Stephanie Urbina Jones’ fifth album. It reflects who she is and what she has lived and loved through while making her most personal album to date. The San Antonio native is passionate about bringing the Hispanic and Latin heritage to the Country/Americana music worlds and beyond through her unique blend of bicultural music. It is through her collection of powerful Texicana country rock songs that she brings listeners on the journey that brought her through the wreckage to the resurrection of her heart and eventually to the revolución en her corazón. “This music was my own baptism of fire,” says Jones, who wrote 9 of the album’s 11 songs. “I wrote through it all and thankfully came back with my heart singing and rising like a phoenix out of the ashes, living a more meaningful, grounded and grateful life than ever before. It would have been easy to walk away, but I wanted to give back the gifts I had been given through these songs. In them I found a faith and fire that moved me through the pain I was living to a better life on the other side.” For the last few years, the Latin Country/Americana artist has been winning international acclaim while shattering traditional music industry boundaries and genres. The Austin American-Statesman says, “Stephanie has what most people would regard as the right tools for her chosen life’s work: an agile songwriter’s pen; a smoky supple voice; devastating good looks; and a refreshing lack of music orthodoxy. But Jones real gifts are an adamant determination, a healthy skepticism about fast buck payoffs, and a work ethic that would put John Henry and his hammer to shame.” She got her first cut when country star Lorrie Morgan recorded “Shakin’ Things Up” and made it the title track of her album. Jones recorded it herself and became the first independent female artist to hit No. 1 on the Texas Music Chart, a spot she held for five weeks. Source: Submitted [less-]

Enjoy live music tonight with Greg Adams, Ernie Halter, Rebecca Correia, and Kevin So! New York-based Singer Songwriter Greg Adams is constantly challenging himself as a musician. By studying guitar greats Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler and John Mayer, he has learned to push his chosen instrument and delve deep into his craft. He is always searching for new songwriting styles and inspiration, taking cues from James Taylor, Sting and Neil Young, composing music that strikes a chord in real life. His songs reflect stories about what he’s seen, what he’s done and where he’s going. A graduate of Bentley University, Adams earned a degree in Management and Environmental Studies. He also pursued an extra-curricular music education outside of the classroom, training under professional artists who studied at the Berklee College of Music. His first gig was a student showcase at a local pub where he channeled stage fright into a passionate performance, and ultimately found his true calling. Source: GregAdamsLive.com [less-]

Baltimore pop rock trio 3PM has an undeniable and captivating spirit. That spirit is easy to see in their genuine and dynamic performances and even easier to hear in their new, unmistakably catchy pop rock sound, borrowed from their pop punk roots. And finding this unique sound has just been a part of their journey in discovering their true identity. Their melodic, fresh music has been thrilling fans and attracting notice from a wide swath of industry press.  PopWrapped magazine praised the group’s “own new rebellious yet heartfelt sound”. The success of their sophomore album established a name for 3PM on the east coast and attracted a growing and dedicated fanbase. The upcoming release is an exciting, new page for 3PM, bringing their sound to the leading edge of today's trends and destined to turbocharge their fan base and reach countless new fans.  In forming the trio in 2012, Brandon Millman (drummer) reached out to a friend's little brother, fresh faced 13-year-old Scott Montgomery (guitarist). The two then turned to - what else - social media to add a new vocalist, finding Aaron O’Connor (lead vocals) on Twitter. Their freshman effort “Change of Plans” and simultaneous release of hit single “Perfect for Me” in early 2013 helped the group develop a strong following in their hometown. The band then recorded their eagerly awaited sophomore album “Slow Me Down” with well-known producer Paul Leavitt. Released in 2014, "Slow Me Down" turned heads, earning the boys a chance to prove themselves with a spot on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour as a catering band. During their time on the Warped Tour, “Slow Me Down” peaked on the Billboard charts at #27 Top Rock Albums, #2 Heatseekers, #18 Alternative and #19 Independent, helping push total sales for the album to 20,000 copies.  With many looking to see what they would do next, the band spent countless hours working on taking their music to the next level and emerged with a style all their own. Their writing attracted the attention of multi-platinum producer Matt Squire, who has produced breakout records for artists such as One Direction, Panic! at the Disco, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. 3PM and Squire are currently busy in the studio creating the next new sound. Be on the lookout for this next incarnation of 3PM. Join them at Rocketown! Source: 3PM-Music.com [less-]
