Have you ever wondered what life was like for the people of a small southern town during the Civil War? If you have, It Could Not Be Well Avoided is the program for you. Visitors will gather at the rostrum in Stones River National Cemetery for a play in two acts that features eight residents of and visitors to Murfreesboro, Tennessee sharing their stories from the tumultuous year of 1862.
