This concert will feature David Briggs (Music Director), Pat Boone, Mac Davis, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Wanda Jackson, The Jordanaires, Millie Kirkham, Ronnie McDowell, Norbert Putnam, TG Sheppard and BJ Thomas. The event will be hosted by George Klein and proceeds will benefit the The Cecil Scaife Scholarship Endowment. This endowment provides scholarships for students at the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business at Belmont University. In 1971 Belmont University pioneered a music business program designed to prepare young men and women for administrative, creative, and technical careers in the music industry. Thirty years later, the program has grown into the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business with an impressive faculty including academic scholars and authors, entrepreneurs, songwriters, producers, and sound engineers. Internationally renowned as a leader in music business and recording production education and recently named by Time Magazine as one of the "top two" music business schools in the U.S., the college offers students the best in music business, entertainment industry studies, songwriting, and audio engineering technology education. Patron ticketholders will be invited to a special party the evening before the show at RCA Studio B and will receive premium seating at the Ryman for this memorable evening celebrating Elvis. There is also a post-show meet and greet being planned for these ticketholders, but the location is undetermined.
