For over thirty years, The Moody Blues have been musical mainstays on concert stages, recordings and the airwaves. Their remarkable career has generated the sale of over 55 million albums and created a standard for classic rock music which has brought them numerous accolades and awards. Among the band's innovations was a fusion with classical music, heard most notably in their seminal 1967 album Days of Future Passed featuring "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Nights in White Satin." Days of Future Passed was one of the first concept albums and stayed on the Billboard charts for over two years. Led by Justin Hayward (vocals/guitar), John Lodge (bass/vocals) and Graeme Edge (drums), The Moody Blues will embark on a two-month US tour in March 2008.

    I went to the show, and immediately after the first few songs, was asking my date where Ray would be playing during his next concert, so to make plans to go see him again. It was just the beginning of the show and I just couldn't get enough of the beautiful music and lyrics. Ray's music is so humble and honest. And that voice is something you should experience live. I'm pretty much a big fan and you should be too. I've not been to many shows at the Ryman, but for the price, you get more than what you pay for and the sound and lighting is amazing as well!     This was the best show I have ever had the pleasure to attend. The music was awesome and Vince was so down to earth and humble. He had the best group of players with him. It was just great!

    I have a lot of respect for Eddie Izzard, his insights and comedy are fun and not the typical stand up. He is a brave guy. Last night in Nashville he was mediocre. He is adorable to look at, but he seemed to resent the fact he was there, and it was clear he was laughing at us. I also was surprised at how loyal his audience was to him thru the whole thing. I would like to see him in NYC, bet he brings his A game there. Collapse
