If you are the parent, grandparent, or coach of a young baseball player (age 12 and under) and would like to learn some coaching/instruction tips from an impressive group of Major Leaguers, then consider attending the Fourth Annual Big League Coaches Clinic. Proceeds from the highly interactive clinic benefit Nashville RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities). The following Big Leaguers will serve as instructors: David Price, the former Vandy star pitcher and No. 1 draft choice of Tampa Bay, Seattle Mariners (and former UT) pitcher R.A. Dickey, Tampa Bay shorstop Ben Zobrist, Minnesota Twins bench coach Steve Liddle, Major League umpire Chuck Meriwether, and Houston Astros prospect Drew Sutton. There will be stations on hitting, fielding, baserunning, pitching, nutrition, and weight training.
