Mamapalooza 2008 is the lifestyle and entertainment spot for creative Moms Who ROCK (and roll)! Proud Mamapalooza Mothers around the globe take to the arena often with their families beside them uniting in one powerful message: LIVE LOUD! The only cultural event of it's kind featuring mom musicians, artists, authors, comics, dancers and filmmakers that encourage all Mothers to become women of unlimited self-esteem through creative expression and cooperative opportunity. Sample. Shop. Listen. Laugh. The Mamapalooza Festival declares 'May as Mothers Month' creating positive, family friendly programming on stages throughout the world during the month of May annually. With an open door policy for mom performers and their families, these festivals celebrate creativity and diversity, are non-religious and non-partisan. Mamapalooza Festivals are licensed to the Motherhood Foundation Inc. not-for-profit 501c.3 corporation. Partnering local Event Coordinators with parks departments, theaters, arts councils, business improvement districts and private venues, Mamapalooza Festivals foster a supportive community that inspires, educates, and offers opportunities for mother performers, fine artists, craftswomen, educators, community leaders, business owners, their families and their audience. These events are made possible through our community partners and sponsorship programs on the national, regional and local level with, as well as through generosity of individual donations. Genres Accepted: ALL PROJECTS featuring or including MOM talent KID BANDS whose members are 16 or younger FAMILY BANDS DAD BANDS featuring members who are DADS GRANDMA BANDS.
