Join Jeff Ray of WKRN News Channel 2 and the American Diabetes Association for the 10th annual Tour de Cure on Saturday, May 31 - Sunday, June 1, 2008. Tour de Cure is for everyone! No matter what your skill level, there is a route designed for you! Each route begins and ends in Murfreesboro Downtown Square. Choose between four routes that navigate the gentle rolling hills of Tennessee. Enjoy the scenery through charming towns like Bell Buckle and Wartrace. Start your day off with complimentary breakfast and coffee. The one-day routes (20, 40 & 70-mile options) will ride to the first, second or third rest stops. Riders will return to Murfreesboro Downtown Square to take part in the Finish Line Festivities! You will be welcomed back at the finish with fantastic food provided by Longhorn Steakhouse, massage therapy, cheering spectators, music and entertainment until the last rider crosses the finish line! Invite your family and friends to join us for the party! The two-day riders will follow picturesque back roads to tackle the challenge of riding up Monteagle Mountain where an evening of celebration and relaxation will be waiting at St. Mary's Retreat. Sunday provides a thrilling descent from the top of Monteagle. Filled with exhilarating turns, you will ride a different 36-mile return through Decherd. In Tullahoma, you will rejoin the Saturday route into Murfreesboro. The party doesn't stop once you cross the finish line! Grab a quick bite at the square, shower at MAC and head over to the highly anticipated Tour de Cure After Party at Stones River Mall! Join the celebration!
