    A musical Labor Day weekend at Riverfront Park for all ages. Anyone who is a fan of jazz, soul, gospel, reggae or blues won't want to miss this day of unique music. The Music City J.A.M. (Jazz And More) will offer nationally renowned artists along with local flavors. Multi-platinum recording artist and guitar legend Peter Frampton will headline the 2008 festival. Jazz great Kirk Whalum will once again host the festival and American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle will also perform.This family-oriented event showcases the harmonious diversity of Music City. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Museum of African American Music, Art & Culture, and Music City, Inc.
