Founded in 1989, this group of performers and choreographers is based in Nashville and Murfreesboro, Tenn. The company takes a unique approach to dance, exploring themes as varied as dancing laundry and the loss of humanity in the modern world. Blue Moves is known for its diverse, sometimes quirky and often theatrical choreography. They will revive works from the repertory, as well as premiering some new works including one by Amanda Roche that examines the plight of the Tibetan people.
