Besides having a distinguished pedigree (her father was the legendary jazz critic Leonard Feather) Lorraine Feather is a first-rate jazz singer with a long and impressive resume as an artist and composer. Shelly Berg is one of the busiest and most in-demand jazz pianists on the West Coast. He was described by the LA Times as "a powerhouse jazz pianist who always swings hard." Lorraine and Shelly have been performing and composed together since 2001. NJW was fortunate enough to land a spot on their U.S. tour which begins in January. For this performance they'll be joined by Roger Spencer (bass) and Marcus Finnie (drums).
