The NJW pays tribute to the Blues this month with a special 2-night appearance by vocalist Marion James, "Queen of the blues." Marion has recorded and performed in Nashville for many years, and is one of this town's finest blues artists. Her 2003 CD, Essence, was recorded with some of the finest blues and jazz musicians around, including Bob Babbitt, Reese Wyans, and Beegie Adair. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear one of the finest blues stylists working today.
