This highly interactive science exhibit offers visitors an opportunity to gain insight into the wonder of the brain and its importance in every aspect of human life. View and touch brain models; explore how messages are sent to and from the brain; diagnose brain disorders; and simulate the effects of alcohol and drugs on the brain. Brain Matters was designed and produced by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon. This copy was made possible with funding from the National Institutes of Health. The Brain Matters exhibit will be featured in the Kimbrough Gallery. Helpful Information: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and in all areas of the Museum. Free parking for Museum visitors is available behind the Museum at the top of the hill off South Second Street. Sundays are free for everyone!
