Local engineers will be on hand at Adventure Science Center for the first ever Engineering Day. During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about different engineering specialties. In addition, volunteers will lead visitors in hands-on activities and demonstrate their engineering concepts to excite visitors about a career in engineering. Other activities include making a flying machine from straws, learning how earthquakes may cause bridge collapses, building structures with toothpicks and learning how to build a robot.

  Tickets: This event is open to the public and is included in regular Adventure Science Center admission.
