Roby has topped the bestseller lists for more than a decade with novels Love & Lies, Changing Faces and The Best-Kept Secret. She received a first-time author award from the Black History Month Book Fair in Chicago and was named Author of the Year at the 2006 African-American Literary Award Show in New York.
