The Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee was founded in 2002 by a group of concerned health professionals, educators, community members, and families. EDCT is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and awareness of eating disorders and the promotion of a healthy body image. One of the primary goals of the EDCT is to educate people in Tennessee communities about eating disorders, with the hope that this education will prevent the development of eating disorders and provide those who are impacted by disordered eating with support, information, and assistance in finding effective treatment.
