Hit CCM recording artist Matt Brouwer and hit songwriters Rick & Janis Carnes will headline this month's Tunesmithing Songwriters Night at Borders West End. The monthly event, which spotlights hit songwriters and emerging tunesmiths, also will feature performances by songwriters Branan Logan and Bruce Miller. Nashville publicist Chuck Whiting and the Songwriters Guild’s Central Project Manager Kimberly Maiers Shaw will emcee the show. Tunesmithing at West End is sponsored by Whiting Publicity & Promotions and the Nashville office of the Songwriters Guild of America.

Last fall, his compilation album B-Side Recording Vol. 1 was nominated for a Covenant Award as the Best Worship Album of the Year by the Gospel Music Association Canada. He is currently working on a new album with Grammy Award-winning producer Michael Omartian.
