Alonzo Bodden was born in New York and lives in L.A. He describes his humor as "cynically good-natured" which explains his broad appeal. Alonzo draws on his own experiences being raised in the "middle-class hood" and strives to find humor in the commonality of our life experiences and transcend the race and gender boundaries that separate us.

This is a show you can watch over and over again. Funny from the start to the finish. I'd never seen a hypnotist show before and I was blown away. I hung around to chat to the volunteers after the show and there was no way they were leaving without buying a DVD of the evening's show. I've heard he is going to play at Zanies for the rest of the week. I will be calling friends and going again. I can't remember laughing so hard! Collapse
