    Memphis artist Terri Jones will speak in the Watkins College theatre on Friday, March 7 as part of the annual lecture series sponsored by Regions Bank. This lecture will be followed by a reception celebrating the opening of her exhibition, which will run in the Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Gallery at Watkins College through March 29. Jones received her BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in 1985. She was awarded a Southern Arts Federation NEA Fellowship award for works on paper and was sponsored by the International Austausch Ateliers Region Basel and Austin Peay State University as the 1999 Tennessee Exchange Artist. Jones artwork consists mostly of delicate drawings with a slightly vintage aesthetic. She has shown her drawings in Tennessee, Virginia, California, Mississippi and Switzerland. Jones artwork has been reviewed in such journals as Art Papers, Number, New Art Examiner, and The Memphis Flyer.
