Join us for our local author series with Sonya Hayes and Mark Allen Young. Hayes, author of “Stuck in the Middle” and local middle school teacher, knows all about being stuck in the middle: the period between elementary and high school where the unknown happens, the unwanted happens and the expected no longer exists.
Young, in his first book, “Hindered: The Fall & Impending Rise of Black America,” addresses the survival and prosperity of African Americans with the goal of uplifting all of America.
