Growing Up Black In America is a creative ballet concerning the African American experience, as seen through the eyes of a child, coming from the continent of Africa as an enslaved person, through slavery, jim crow, civil rights movement, and ultimately the state of Black youth today. The Dance "What Do The Children See?" is a compelling story of hope for all ages. This performance is a collaborative partnership between Creative Artists of Tennessee located in North Nashville and Rejoice Ministries located in East Nashville.
