Nashville-based artist John Donovan uses his material in almost every way possible. An instructor at Middle Tennessee State University, Donovan uses his knowledge of traditional ceramics and clay working to bring a new approach to the medium. His oftentimes-playful objects utilize the technical precision of a master of his craft, yet his subjects question traditional concepts.

This exhibition will be held in the East Wing Gallery. An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 2 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
