Comedian Billy Gardell to benefit the 100 Club of Nashville
April 6, 2008
Billy Gardell's Sunday evening show at Zanie's will benefit the 100 Club of Nashville, helping Families of Nashville's Police, Fire & EMT Departments in their time of need. Born in 1969, to the hard, blue-collar steel of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Billy Gardell would learn early that a strong sense of humor is not only a convenient weapon, but an absolute must for dealing with life in an unstable environment. As if being a die hard Steelers fan wasnt enough cause for stress in the mid eighties, Gardell suddenly found himself transplanted from the traditional "family first values" of Pennsylvania to the obscurity and blistering humidity of Central Florida, the product of a broken home. Recently, Gardell was seen portraying Billy O'Brien in Heist (2006).

This is a show you can watch over and over again. Funny from the start to the finish. I'd never seen a hypnotist show before and I was blown away. I hung around to chat to the volunteers after the show and there was no way they were leaving without buying a DVD of the evening's show. I've heard he is going to play at Zanies for the rest of the week. I will be calling friends and going again. I can't remember laughing so hard! Collapse
