For the last seven years, golfers raised several hundreds of thousands of dollars to help the ministry of Miriam’s Promise. Golfers participate by getting pledges from friends and family members. While this has been a huge success, many people told us that they would like to participate, but aren’t golfers.
So this year we are adding a WALKERS CHALLENGE to our GOLF CHALLENGE. Everyone will walk the 4.2 mile golf cart path at Old Natchez Country Club at 7:00am. Each walker will have the opportunity to raise money just like our golfers by getting pledges from family and friends. Following the completion of the WALK, breakfast will be served and awards will be given. Incentive prizes and mementoes will be given to those who help us raise the most money!
At 10:00am, our Eighth Annual GOLFERS CHALLENGE will begin. "Lunch on the Grill" will be served on the course. There will be special hole-in-one prizes and other skill prizes such as longest drive, closest to the pin, and straightest drive along with team prizes. Incentive prizes and mementoes will be given to those who help us raise the most money! Following the golf challenge, all golfers will meet in the clubhouse for awards and gifts.
