Volunteers Needed!! Nashville Children's Mental Health Week Event is part of a national campaign to create awareness about the importance of good mental health. On Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am - 2:00pm, at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, the 11th Year celebration will kick off Children's Mental Health Week, May 4-10. The day of fun at the zoo, which last year attracted approximately 2,500 persons, includes face painting, visits with the animals, entertainment, storytelling, games, and booth after booth of information for parents and educators.

All volunteers will receive a breakfast from 9:00am-9:30am, lunch and snacks, free admission to the Zoo, and the satisfaction of serving your community. Groups may also sign up to volunteer together. Call or email for more information.

Helpful Information: Must love to work with children and youth in the community. Only children 13 and up will be permitted to attend and participate in volunteer activities. They must have parental consent and be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Sexual Offender Registry Check will be done before any volunteer will be approved to assist at the event.
