The Tubes are Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, Prairie Prince, Rick Anderson and David Medd, a collection of high school friends from Phoenix, Arizona. This San Francisco-based theatre rock band is particularly known for their late 1970s and early 1980s live performances that included wild satires of media, consumerism and politics.
