    Presented by the Lifeworks Foundation in partnership with ASCAP, the 2008 Carriage House Music Series benefiting Belle Meade Plantation kicks off with a memorable evening featuring four first class songwriters. Guests enjoy a social hour with complementary wine and beer as well as a catered dinner by Pan South Catering, which draws its menus from the Bound'ry and South Street, two of Nashville's favorite eateries.

    The April 30 event features the following songwriters: J. Fred Knobloch along with Don Schlitz and Thom Schuyler, originated the "In the Round" shows at the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. His most recent chart successes were Faith Hill's Top 10 single "If My Heart Had Wings" and George Strait's Top 10 single "Meanwhile." Tony Haselden has penned hits such as the No. 1 single "It Ain't Nothin" recorded by Keith Whitley, the Top 10 hit "Take It Like A Man" by Michelle Wright, the No. 1 hit song "You Know Me Better Than That" by George Strait and Top 10 single "That's My Story" by Collin Raye. Roxie Dean has written chart topping singles such as Lee Ann Womack's "Why They Call It Falling," Reba McEntire's "My Sister," Tracy Lawrence's "Lonely," as well as Jamie O'Neal's No. 1 hit single "When I Think About Angels." Dave Turnbull's recent chart successes include Montgomery Gentry's No. 1 smash single "Lucky Man," the current Blake Shelton single "The More I Drink," as well as Darryl Worley's Top 10 hit "If Something Should Happen," Trace Adkin's touching military tribute "Arlington," and Jeff Bates' single "One Second Chance."
