Nashville educator/facilitator Marie Szabo will show individuals and professionals how to build healthy self-esteem during a seminar at the Nashville Center for Spiritual Living. Szabo, the CEO for Nashville-based ChangePLUS, will share in-depth information based on the works of Nathaniel Branden and other leading professionals in the field of psychology. Individuals also will have the opportunity to participate in creative exercises to help boost self-esteem and self-acceptance. "Healthy self-esteem is a necessary part of human existence," said Szabo, who holds a master's degree in educational psychology. "Anything worth attaining in life begins with oneself. How do you succeed socially, professionally and financially in a world that values achievement, when you have a hard time accepting and taking responsibility for who you are and what you do?" Szabo is an experienced educator who holds a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's degree in educational psychology with a concentration in human relations and family life education from McGill University in Montreal. The workshop is free; donations are accepted. Lunch will be provided.
