Singer/songwriter Jett Williams discovered her ancestral link in the 80s. The daughter of Hank Williams and Bobbie Jett, she's put the colorful tale of her struggles and triumph into the book Ain't Nothin' As Sweet as My Baby: The Story of Hank Williams' Lost Daughter. She's also developed her own distinctive style and become a performer that is empowered by her heritage, yet also has a unique approach and sound that's independent of it.

Williams will tell her remarkable story Saturday in a combination interview and performance at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Williams will perform songs from her father's vast and impressive repertoire and also talk about her life with Michael McCall, co-curator of the current exhibit Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy. Following the interview/performance segment, Williams will also do a signing in the Museum Store.

My wife and I were at the museum and caught this show. We did not know about it beforehand, so we were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room to see this great musician and music legend and his band. Many thanks to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for a thrilling afternoon. Collapse
