Nashville Ballet will host an opening reception for Juissance, an exhibition of new works by Jason Facio. The mixed media paintings on wood, planks and canvas reflect autobiographical anecdotes and social commentary. Facio, a native of Florida, was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he received his formal training at the Architecture School of Universidad de Belgrano. Facio has designed sets for Nashville Ballet productions and premiered his first gallery show in 2000 to great acclaim. The exhibition, located in the Nashville Ballet's Frist Gallery in the Regions School of Nashville Ballet studios, will run from May 11 through August 10.

In addition, the public is invited to step into Studio A and watch dancers of Nashville Ballet and Nashville Ballet 2 as they perform Works In Progress, a choreographic workshop/presentation of new and original works. Eight dances will be presented from 4:00pm - 5:00pm.
