Warrant
May 17, 2008
With the return of its original members for the first time in almost 15 years, Warrant will storm back to the stage in 2008, with plans for a tour and new music well into 2009 and beyond. The band, formed in 1984 by LA guitarist Erik Turner and bassist Jerry Dixon, hit the rock scene in February 1989 with the release of its debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (Columbia Records). A blistering world tour of 262 shows helped push the 10-track record to double platinum status. The CD spawned three singles -- "Down Boys," "Sometimes She Cries" and "Heaven." For the first time since 1994, Warrant will return this year with all of its original members. Jani Lane returns to his storied role as voice of Warrant, Joey Allen and Steven Sweet return to the fold, and mainstays Turner and Dixon round out the band’s five-man lineup.

My name is Colin Wells. I have been a fan of UB40 since a teenager. I lived in the UK until 6 years ago. Now living in the USA with my American wife and kids I am delighted that I have managed to convert many Americans into UB40 lovers. Their music is fantastic, I listen to no other. Thanks UB40 for coming close to my home state. Keep going lads - Cover Up is your best yet. Looking forward to seeing you all in Nashville and hope I can get some photos with yall. My 10 year old girl Kourtney Wells loves your music and can sing most songs while her brother of 11 plays the drums. Collapse

This is the best show I have ever seen! What a magnificent tribute to the talent asssembled. I applaude Ringo and his ongoing message of peace and love. If the world focused more on peace and love and less that seems to intrude on our everyday lives, the world would be a much better place! Collapse
