UB40 are a British reggae band formed in 1978 in Birmingham. Featuring the same line-up of 8 musicians from 1978-2008, the band placed more than 50 singles on the UK charts, and achieved considerable international success as well. Their #1 hits include 1983's "Red Red Wine."  UB40 continue to popularize reggae around the globe and, in the process, give enormous pleasure to a public too vast to be defined by age, generation or fashion.

Now living in the USA with my American wife and kids I am delighted that I have managed to convert many Americans into UB40 lovers. Their music is fantastic, I listen to no other. Thanks UB40 for coming close to my home state. Keep going lads - Cover Up is your best yet. Looking forward to seeing you all in Nashville and hope I can get some photos with yall. My 10 year old girl Kourtney Wells loves your music and can sing most songs while her brother of 11 plays the drums. Collapse
