Music
Chris Stapleton, Shawn Camp, Ronnie Bowman and Jimmy Stewart
July 9, 2008
Chris Stapleton grew up the son of a coal miner in the Appalachian foothills of Paintsville, Kentucky. After graduating high school, he spent about five years searching for something resembling a life direction. He started (and quit) 2 different colleges, delivered pizzas, tried to play bluegrass, drove an ice truck, sold cars and wore out his welcome on a buddies couch before finally moving to Nashville in October of 2001. Since then, he has evolved into one of Nashville music scenes hottest and most well respected young writers. He has had more than 50 songs recorded including the title cut on Lee Ann Womacks CMA album of the year Theres More Where That Came From and Josh Turners number 1 single Your Man. Enjoy music from Shawn Camp, Ronnie Bowman and Jimmy Stewart as well.

I've seen the show three times over the last year and a half, and I'm going back to see it again Tuesday night at Nashville's Station Inn. Doyle and Debbie are the greatest! The heights of hilarity along with the depths of depravity. I can't go wrong if I see it over and over again. Collapse

I drove down from Pennsylvania specifically to see this show ... and she did not disappoint! Gail was full of energy, sang a healthy dose of her hits and kept it interesting by throwing in a lot of her lesser known songs. She opened with "Big Road," which is such a great showcase for her voice: stratospheric high notes, bluesy growls, full-bodied and feisty. And it just kept getting better. If you ever get a chance to see Gail Davies, do NOT pass it up! Collapse

This is a "must attend" for anyone who loves Bluegrass. The Smith family is legendary - infamous Mother, Hazel (author of cookbook "Hazel's Hot Dish Cookin" With Country Stars) and equally talented Brother, Terry, bassist for The Grascals. This family rocks in more ways than one. I love Billy Smith! Collapse
