The Fourth Annual CMA Music Festival Kickoff Parade and Block Party

The CMA Music Festival Kickoff Parade will take the four-wheeled procession from the starting point at Broadway and Sixth Avenue North down Broadway; turning right on to Third Avenue South; proceeding down Third Avenue South until turning right on Demonbreun; proceeding down Demonbreun to Sixth Avenue, where it will end at the Sommet Center garage.

James Otto is the Grand Marshal and other participants include Deborah Allen, Katie Armiger, riders from Championship Bull Riding, Erika Jo, Crystal Gayle, The Grascals, Jeff Griffith, Indian Rodeo, Lonestar, Jason Meadows, Mountain Heart, Michael Martin Murphey, several of NASCAR's top drivers, One Flew South, The Roys, Phil Stacey, Keni Thomas, Trent Tomlinson, Rhonda Towns, Kyle Wyley, and Chris Young. Other participants include the Antioch High School Marching Band and Drill Team; the Overton High School drumline; the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee riding on their float; the Boy Scouts of Middle Tennessee, and various Southeast Region Chevy Youth Baseball teams. In addition, a caravan of Corvette enthusiasts will join the parade.

The block party will feature performances by James Otto, Keith Anderson, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Joe Nichols, Rissi Palmer, Phil Stacey, and Chris Young.

Immediately following the parade will be the Block Party at the Sommet Center Plaza on Broadway and Fifth Avenue South.

    I am thankful that this "FREE" venue will allow many kids and adults the opportunity to see Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus that would not usually get the opportunity. Thank You!

    The best unplanned trip I ever took! It really is Music City. I have not stopped thinking of it for one day, and I am going back again for 10 days this year! I saw Vince Gill everywhere I went. Performing in the honkey tonks. I discovered The Time Jumpers. And felt a warm welcome everywhere I went. I am from NY and if a band is playing and it is a full house, that's it. You can not get in. The Time Jumpers were sold out and I asked real nice if I could just stand against the wall. I did not care if I could not sit, I just needed to hear that sweet music. I was welcomed in and it was one of the best nights I ever had. I cried happy tears everyday that I was there. The festival was amazing. Everyone and anyone you wanted to meet was there. Collapse
