8 Off 8th is a terrific entry point into the Nashville music scene. A collection of hometown musicians play three-song sets, and you never know who might show up. It's a place to hear new talent as well as established artists who come out to have fun with friends and peers. Click here to check the Mercy Lounge calendar for who's playing this week.     This was the second time I saw the Long Players perform at Mercy/Cannery and they simply ROCK! What an incredibly gifted collection of musicians who always select fabulous albums to cover. Have now seen them perform Led Zeppelin and Paul McCartney ... can't wait to find out what's next! Collapse

    I was pretty bummed when I heard the show was being moved to The Cannery Ballroom. I was looking forward to seeing them at The Mercy Lounge, but it ended up being a blast! They sounded super tight and of course the crowd went nuts for Steady as She Goes. Level was another highlight. The opening band Magic Wands were really good, a lot of people seemed to dig them.
