It's time for the 8th Annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival! The event is on Jefferson Street between 26th and 27th Avenues. It's sponsored by our friends at the Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership (J.U.M.P.) Opening the festival at noon will be NJW's own Samba Nove! The headliner, at 10:00pm, is Tyrone Smith. Visit the J.U.M.P. website for the complete schedule. On Friday night June 20 from 6:00pm to midnight, J.U.M.P. will host a "Bridging the Gap" mixer on the Shelby St. Bridge, with three stages of music and a cash bar. Samba Nove will also be on hand for this event.
