Being born in England to parents from the American South has made odd juxtapositions seem the norm for Kevin Joiner. You can hear this in the music he makes. Someone once described his voice as "choir boy gone bad". Kevin doesn't know about all that, but, having grown up in the South, the heavenliness of Old Time Gospel, the earthiness of Stax Soul, the poor desperation of the Delta Blues, and the working class aspirations of classic Country and Western were never far from his ears. While much of his sense of melody and chord structure comes from these rural influences, he's married these classic styles to the lyrical sensibilities and arrangements of modern, progressive music, producing a genuine Americana style that is all his own. Kevin will be followed by Angel Snow.

    I have seen this band in concert once before, and absolutely LOVED it! The members work effortlessly together to produce not only a great sound, but a great performance you will never forget.
