Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Danny Combs now calls Nashville home. He not only teaches guitar lessons, but also plays guitar full time. He played classical guitar on the critically acclaimed sophomore record by Pivitplex which CCM Magazine called "...an unbelievable alternative pop power masterpiece." Danny has also done guitar editing and arranging for multiple books, most recently "The Christian Life Hymnal - The Accompanist Edition" for Martingale Music and Hendrickson Publishers. In 2007 Danny released a self published CD, "Caffeine and Corduroy," which contained 11 original fingerstyle songs. Shortly thereafter his music was heard by Solid Air Records president, James Jensen, and is now scheduled to be re-released in early 2008 under his label. In addition, Danny will be featured on Solid Air's "Acoustic Guitar Highlights, Vol. 6."

    Wow, I was so impressed with the talent last thursday evening at Edgehill...Melissa Bollea hosted the night and performed in the last set. I would go to see her again!

    This sounds like a great night of tuneage. Brett and Ford are two of my favorite Nashville songwriters and I'm pretty psyched these two dudes are on the same bill. Worth the price of NBN admission.

    I was lucky enough to be in town for the James Dunn show in Nashville. It was amazing. Great performance and great band. Why this guy isn't huge I have no idea. Keep it up James!
