The Official Bonnaroo KickOff Party Featuring: Lez Zeppelin, a New York City-based all-female tribute band, performing the work of Led Zeppelin. Steph Paynes plays guitar, Helen Destroy takes John Bonham's role on drums, Lisa Brigantino performs bass guitar, mandolin, and keyboards, and Sarah McLellan is the lead vocalist. Lez Zeppelin has released a self-titled debut album which was recorded with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, best known for his work with Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and KISS. The album was mastered by George Marino who, with Jimmy Page, digitally remastered all of the original Led Zeppelin recordings.

    I was pretty bummed when I heard the show was being moved to The Cannery Ballroom. I was looking forward to seeing them at The Mercy Lounge, but it ended up being a blast! They sounded super tight and of course the crowd went nuts for Steady as She Goes. Level was another highlight. The opening band Magic Wands were really good, a lot of people seemed to dig them.
