During the German occupation of Denmark in World War II, Danish freedom fighters of all ages risked everything in daring attempts to rescue the Jewish population. In this stirring new play, young Anne Marie and Kirsti face their fears as they try to help their friend Ellen escape to Sweden safely. Number the Stars is adapted by Dr. Douglas W. Larche, based on the book by Lois Lowry - a National Best Seller and winner of the Newberry Award and the American Library Association Book of the Year.

Helpful Information: School times are Tuesday through Thursday, February 24-26 and March 3-5 at various times. Public performances are held on February 27 and 28.
