Adult Creative Writing Workshop: Writing from Art: Moments of Light

Ellen Rust, MA, MEd, who facilitates expressive writing groups in Franklin and Nashville, will lead this workshop based on selected works in Color As Field: American Painting, 1950-1975. Participants will have the opportunity to practice ekphrasis poetry or poetic writing, an approach that encourages observers to view art from different perspectives and think about those experiences on paper.
