The Missouri-born Chris Janson has electrified Nashville's country music scene. In fact, it only took two days at a local Nashville bar to incite a wave of interest from country music's biggest record labels. It could be his intense and vocally stunning performances, his remarkable ability to play the harmonica, or the depth of his songs, but there is something remarkable about this 21 year-old phenomenon. Nashville's critics been buzzing with excitement about this emerging star, and have even likened him to a combination of Mick Jagger and Hank Williams Sr. Chris readily acknowledges his influences, but he has a confidence in his identity that transcends his age.
