Add Review/Comment"Grace of Isolation" is focused on themes of healing and restoration in places of isolation. Jennifer Goss' work is primarily narrative, using mixed media and collage. She lived in South Africa for 16 years, painting not only in the Southern hemisphere but also in Europe. Goss has been a high school art teacher, a private art instructor in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Creative Facilitator with ACT (Artists for Community Transformation) in North Africa and Europe. She now resides in Paris, France, where she will facilitate a mentor type ministry to other visual artists.
Karen Kang says she is Korean by birth, and American by exposure. She has exhibited her sculpture all over the world, including the Netherlands and Germany. She currently resides in New York, NY.
Note: "Grace of Isolation" will kick off with a sculpture demo by Karen Kang, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm on July 24. An opening reception to meet the artists will be held on Friday July 25, 6-9pm.
