Nashville Cats: Buddy Spicher
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
August 23, 2008
Fiddler Buddy Spicher was only nineteen when Audrey Williams heard him play on the WWVA Jamboree in Wheeling, W.Va. She brought him to Nashville, where he became a sideman to the legends of country music, including Bill Monroe, Ray Price, Hank Snow, and others. This interview will be illustrated with photos, vintage film clips, and recordings. Following the program, Spicher will go to the Museum Store for a signing.

My wife and I were at the museum and caught this show. We did not know about it beforehand, so we were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room to see this great musician and music legend and his band. Many thanks to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for a thrilling afternoon. Collapse
