If you didn't get enough of "The Boss" at his Thursday night show at the Sommet Center, come down for Spirit in the Night: A Tribute to the Music of Bruce Springsteen featuring The Victrolas, Afton Wolfe and the The Steel Mill Casualties, Lanky and more to benefit Hands On Nashville!

The Victrolas began at a Willie Nelson concert in Athens, GA, in 2003. The band has taken many twisting turns since that night: initially an acoustic duo, in the last two years the group has evolved into a four-piece that creates a unique blend of country, rock and folk. The Victrolas write and perform memorable and appealing songs that cut across the grain of existing genres. Based out of Nashville, Ryan, Josh, Casey and Brandon have been making a name for themselves with an energizing live show and relentless touring of the Southeast.

I was pretty bummed when I heard the show was being moved to The Cannery Ballroom. I was looking forward to seeing them at The Mercy Lounge, but it ended up being a blast! They sounded super tight and of course the crowd went nuts for Steady as She Goes. Level was another highlight. The opening band Magic Wands were really good, a lot of people seemed to dig them. Overall a great night! Collapse
