Some of Middle Tennessee's most compelling, roots-oriented musicians and dancers will unite in the name of one of Nashville's most pressing problems - hunger. Full Table: a music and dance benefit for hunger will feature fiery Americana Music Association Award-nominated gospel-soul singer Mike Farris, revered rock and blues guitarist Dave Perkins, all-female garage gospel trioCarry A. Nation (comprised of Sarah Masen, Sherry Cothran and Jewly Hight) and the LaVergne, Tenn. - based Southern Country Cloggers performing at West Nashville United Methodist Church, the site of the multi-cultural concert series Cafe West.

All proceeds from the $10 suggested donation will go to West Nashville U.M.C.'s food assistance program. West Nashville U.M.C. has been providing food assistance to needy individuals and families for the past six years. Each week of the year (even during holidays) the church - partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank and Nashville's Table - distributes approximately 300 pounds of food through its food pantry and dinner for the homeless and urban poor. The need is only growing, and Full Table offers a chance to help.
