The Tennessee State Museum will offer a special quilt event entitled Piecing Tennessee History. The one-day-only event is a presentation on the museum's collection of over 300 quilts by Senior Curator of Fashion & Textiles Dr. Candace J. Adelson. One of the oldest documented Tennessee quilts, made by Rebecah Foster in 1808, will be displayed. Also on display: furniture by Tennessee's finest contemporary artisans in the exhibition Legs & Leaves: Creations from the Cumberland Furniture Guild.
