Coley came to Nashville straight out of the hills of West Virginia with one goal - to be a successful recording artist. This was prompted by an "out-of-body" experience (as she puts it) that occurred at a Keith Whitley/Tammy Wynette concert when she was a teenager. She started writing poems/songs, formed a band and played in and around the tri-state area for several years. She eventually made the scary but necessary move to Music City and signed a publishing deal with Big Tractor Music, then a record deal with RCA Records. Two singles were released - "Who I Am To You" and "Grow Young With You" which was on the soundtrack for the film WHERE THE HEART IS (Ashley Judd/Natalie Portman). Coley has written/co-written songs that have been recorded by other artists such as the legendary Loretta Lynn ("Don’t Open That Door"), SHeDAISY ("Lucky 4 You - Tonight I’m Just Me"), Lila McCann, Rebecca Lynn Howard ("Smithfield Boys"), among others. The song "Lucky 4 You (Tonight I’m Just Me)" was a top ten hit and earned an ASCAP award. She co-starred in the R&G Productions feature film ALABAMA LOVE STORY, and co-wrote/performed songs in the movie as well. She also co-wrote the song "In Time" for the Marvel/Lions Gate film THE PUNISHER, the ABC Series DAYBREAK, and upcoming independent film MY CHILD; MOTHERS OF WAR.

    Note: Families are welcome.
