Judy Collins has thrilled audiences worldwide for nearly 40 years, and her voice and lyrics galvanized a generation. She has released more than 30 albums, has had numerous Top Ten hits, Grammy nominations and gold and platinum selling albums.

Appearing with her are Nashville songwriter Jon Vezner and Americana singer/songwriter Amy Speace. Vezner is a Grammy award-winning songwriter with a catalog of hits topped by his poignant "Where've You Been." His songs have been recorded by artists such as Martina McBride, Janis Ian, John Mellencamp, Faith Hill and Nancy Griffith. Speace is known for her indelible hooks, sharply observed lyrics and a gritty urban edge. Renowned Nashville critic Robert K. Oerrmann writing in Music Row, dubbed her a "new star."

Concert-goers are encouraged to pack a picnic and bring blankets and lawn chairs for comfort. Gates open at 5:00pm. The concert will be held rain or shine, and concluded with an invitation to stargaze using the Observatory's telescope. The concert is sponsored by Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory and the Bluebird Cafe.
